Francesca is an Associate in Arup’s NYC offices. She is a strategist and certified facilitator with a background in media and advertising. Her contributions to the Foresight team have been the authoring of the Drivers of Change Demographics card set and the development of the future of hospitality and education programmes. She brings her understanding of ethnography, storytelling, and strategic planning to everything she does on behalf of the team and is actively involved in the urban innovation eco-system in NYC.
Through her regional role as the Americas Leader of Foresight + Research + Innovation she is responsible for delivering projects which promote strategic foresight and innovation in the design development process. She works collaboratively with a variety of clients to envision the future of their organization and to develop a design process which fully integrates that future vision and the views of their multiple stakeholders. She is also the editor-in-chief and founder of Doggerel, Arup’s online magazine, focused on innovation in the built environment.
